Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Introduction
Klotion ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, exactly what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it when you use our browser extension, iOS app, and website. It is written to match the data-collection disclosures in our App Store privacy label — the two describe the same thing.
2. Information We Collect
Klotion collects only the data needed to save your content to Notion and to run your account. Specifically:
- Account email address — used to create and manage your account, sign you in, and scope your saved data to you.
- The content and URL of pages you choose to save — when you actively save a page, we process the clipped article content and the page's URL so we can write it to your Notion workspace. This happens only for pages you deliberately save; we do not passively record your browsing.
- Your Notion connection — when you connect Notion, we store the OAuth access token you grant us, encrypted at rest, so we can write saved pages into the workspace you authorize. See section 5.
- Subscription status and a save count — we store whether your Pro subscription is active or expired, and a server-side count of your saves, to unlock Pro features and enforce the free-tier quota.
We do not collect payment card details, precise location, health data, contacts, or any data type beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the save-to-Notion service: writing your saved content to Notion, syncing your forms and saved-page history, managing your account, and enforcing the free plan's quota. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the app's functionality.
4. What We Do Not Do — No Tracking, No Ads
Klotion does not track you. Specifically, we:
- ship no analytics SDK (no Firebase, Amplitude, Segment, etc.);
- ship no advertising SDK and display no ads;
- do not track you across other companies' apps or websites;
- never sell your data or share it with data brokers.
The data described in section 2 is collected purely to deliver the save-to-Notion functionality — never to track you. This matches our App Store privacy label, where Klotion declares no tracking.
5. The Notion Connection
The Notion access token you grant when you connect your workspace is a functionality credential, not data we collect about you for marketing. We store it encrypted, use it only to call the Notion API on your behalf to write the pages you save, and never sell it, use it for tracking, or link it to advertising. You can revoke it at any time by disconnecting Notion or deleting your account. We integrate with Notion through their official API and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Notion Labs, Inc.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your saved content and account data are stored on our servers to enable sync and history across your devices. Authentication tokens, including your Notion token, are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (in-app purchase) on iOS and by Stripe on the web — Klotionnever sees or stores your card number.
7. Third-Party Services
We integrate with Notion via their official API to save your content. Payments are handled by Apple and by Stripe, each of which has its own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any advertising networks or data brokers.
8. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your linked data — including your email, saved page content and history, and your Notion connection token — from our systems.
